Research Use Agreement

This Research Use Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your purchase and use of any product sold by Society Peptides (“the Products”). By placing an order, you agree to all of the terms below.

1. Research Use Only

The Products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research purposes. They are NOT:

  • Drugs, dietary supplements, food, cosmetics, or medical devices
  • Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for human or veterinary use
  • Intended for diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease
  • Intended for in-vivo use, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any administration to humans or animals

2. Researcher Representation

By purchasing, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or affiliate of a recognized research institution, or are conducting independent research that complies with all applicable laws;
  • You have the training and facilities required to safely handle research-grade chemical compounds;
  • You will use the Products only in a controlled laboratory setting and will not transfer them for in-vivo use.

3. Assumption of Risk

The Products have not been sterilized for in-vivo use, have not been tested for endotoxins to pharmaceutical standards, and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. You assume all risk associated with the receipt, handling, storage, and use of the Products.

4. Compliance With Law

You will use the Products in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to:

  • The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act
  • The Controlled Substances Act, where applicable
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
  • U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous-materials shipping regulations, if you re-ship the Products
  • Any state-level research-chemical or analog statutes

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Society Peptides, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use, misuse, or distribution of the Products; (b) your breach of this Agreement; (c) any violation of law arising from your handling of the Products.

6. No Resale to End Consumers

You agree not to resell, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Products to any party who intends to consume, ingest, or otherwise use them for non-research purposes. You will pass the obligations of this Agreement on to any third party who receives the Products from you for legitimate research collaboration.

7. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Society Peptides regarding the Products.
